Unique Memorabilia from Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold and Queens of the Stone Age Being Auctioned Off to Help Animal Shelter
An animal shelter in Agua Dulce, California is once again using the power of metal to hopefully raise enough money to keep supporting the animals they have on site. Featuring items from bands like Exodus, Lamb of God, and Queens of the Stone Age, this year’s auction has some prime choices to hopefully entice you into supporting the shelter.
Animal Tracks Inc. is a 501c3 that gives animals rescued from the illegal wildlife trade or retired from the entertainment industry a second shot at life. Sadly, whether it’s a pack of injured hybrid wolves or a primate with lymphoma, these animals are unfit to be released back into the wild. As a result, Animal Tracks does everything humanly possible to provide a wonderful quality of life for each animal there.
According to the shelter, all proceeds generated will go directly to supporting the animals.
Back during the COVID lockdowns, the shelter was unable to receive visitors who would learn about the on-site species for a minimum donation to the shelter. Zoning law changes prohibited those visits and ever since they’ve had to find alternative sources of income. Hence the auction of kick ass items from various metal bands and artists.
Ever since the beginning of the pandemic back in 2020, artists like Corey Taylor, Steve Vai, Wes Borland, Robert Trujillo, Phil X, John Tempesta, Stephen Perkins, Cherie Currie and many more have contributed to the cause.
There are some real awesome one-of-a-kind pieces up for grabs in this latest iteration of the shelter’s fundraiser. If you’re interested in trying your hand at getting some unique memorabilia, be sure to check out the shelter’s AlalogR page and keep an eye out for new items as they come up.
