Alice in Chains Announce Fall Headlining Shows
Grunge legends Alice in Chains are slated to play a set of shows with Guns N’ Roses this fall and they’ve just confirmed a number of solo headliners around that time. Check out the full list of dates below.
Recently, Alice in Chains singer William DuVal—who joined Alice in Chains 17 years ago, in 2006, as Layne Staley‘s replacement—reflected on his tenure as the band’s frontman, which is now longer than Staley’s time fronting Alice in Chains.
“In some ways it feels like seven minutes, and in other ways it feels like 37 years. [Laughs] It’s really interesting — time, your perceptions of time. But, yeah, there are certain memories that feel like three lifetimes ago, and then there are certain things that happened maybe 15 years ago but it feels like yesterday. It’s really weird. But it’s great. And I’m really proud of everything that we’ve been able to accomplish in that time.”
