Code Orange Have Their Own Festival and They’ve Booked 200 Stab Wounds, Vein.FM, and More
It seems like everyone’s got themselves their own festival these days. And when they’re not doing something on land, they’re starting their own metal festival cruises. Basically what I’m trying to say is bands are starting to take things into their own hands and curating a festival experience that fits their style and their fans’ expectations.
Case and point is the fact that Code Orange just unveiled the first annual Code’s World with the tagline “if you book it, they will come” — an obvious reference to the classic flick Field of Dreams. But rather than being a tearjerker of a film about some dude building a baseball field, Code’s World promises to be brutal as fuck.
Taking place on September 30 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the festival will start at 3 p.m. and will feature 12 bands across two stages. The show is open to all ages, too, so you can bring along the rest of your sandlot baseball team to throw hands in the pit.
As for who’ll be playing, just check out this list of bands:
- Code Orange
- Madball
- Vein.FM
- 200 Stab Wounds
- Pain of Truth
- Gridiron
- 1-800-PAIN
- Killbourne
- Wristmeetrazor
- Live It Down
- Hazing Over
- Pain Clinic
Tickets will go on sale this Friday over at the associated Soundrink page, with VIP packages also available at that time. In the meantime, you can always check out the two latest tracks from Code Orange to get yourself hyped up.
