New Baroness Music is Coming Next Tuesday

Oh, hell yes. We recently questioned whether Baroness had something new in the tank and our suspicions ended up being validated, as the band took to social media to tease something new coming on Tuesday, June 20.

Along with the new song, we’re likely to get new album information, since their social media post also features a quick look at some new artwork from the band’s frontman John Baizley. We’ve known that the band’s been working on new material since 2020 and it’s certain this will be the announcement of their followup to 2019’s Gold & Grey, since Baizley has gone on record saying this year was going to be incredibly important to the band.

“Yeah, we started writing a record in the very depths of the pandemic. At the time, the means we had to do that, or the methods that we used to do that, were somewhat challenging, but we got a whole bunch of work done through the pandemic. Once things sort of wound down, our timelines got a little blurrier and we’re getting everything back into focus now. 2023 is going to be a big year for Baroness.”

So yeah. We’ll know more next Tuesday about new Baroness tunes and that’s incredibly exciting!
