Put it back in your pants, metalheads; Lacuna Coil’s heavy metal vixen Cristina Scabbia is taken. The Italian frontwoman is dating Slipknot / Stone Sour guitarist Jim Root, so you’ll have to wait at least until the end of the current Stone Sour / Shadows Fall / Lacuna Coil US tour. Says Root [Blabbermouth.net, via Launch]:

It’s always great when you get a tour with bands that you’re familiar with and you know. We got offered to do the tour and, you know, it was cool looking at it ’cause it was like, ‘Oh, okay, this isn’t gonna be hard to pick at all ’cause we like all these people,’you know, so that’s always a very good thing. And it should be interesting doing a tour with my girlfriend. I’ll actually be able to spend a little more than just a week with her.

And that, my friends, is the silver lining. There is no way they will make it through this tour intact. Have you ever gone on a week-long vacation with your significant other? Were you ready to shoot them at the end? Now imagine two months of that in stinky, fart-filled tour buses and dingy, beer-drenched clubs. Rejoice.
