Black Wail Drop New EP and Release “Dead Mountain” Video

How about some jet fuel-propelled doom/stoner riffs to jolt you awake on this dreary November morning? That’s a rhetorical question, of course; if you’ve made it this far, you’ve got nothing to lose and plenty to gain by smashing “play” on Black Wail’s new video for “Dead Mountain” below, which will provide you with all the energy you need to get your day going.

The track comes from the band’s new EP of the same name, their second release this year following Born on Fire in April. Black Wail have always excelled at Sabbathian stoner/doom with a healthy dose of Clutch-esque blues, but this particular track finds them leaning heavily into the former, complete with extended jam sections that allow each member to fully stretch out. Your head’s bopping and your foot’s tapping, we promise.
