Health and Nine Inch Nails Release Collaborative Track “Isn’t Everyone”

Health and Nine Inch Nails have shared “Isn’t Everyone,” a collaboration that sees the electronic/noise rock band team up with their hero, Trent Reznor.

Musically, “Isn’t Everyone” is what every good collaboration should be: equal parts of each of its contributors’ trademark sounds, not that NIN and Health are sonically far apart to begin with. Trent Reznor is so inescapably burned into our collective brains as Trent Reznor at this point that it’s hard to imagine him as sounding like anything other than Nine Inch Nails… but still, it’s always great to hear new music from him, and Health vocalist Jake Duzsik’s additions to the track add a dynamic you’ve never heard from NIN before.

Health gave pretty much the best press quote of all time to accompany the track: “It’s fucking Nine Inch Nails. That speaks for itself. You don’t need a clever quote to encapsulate it.” Amen, Awomen.

“Isn’t Everyone” was mixed by longtime NIN collaborator Atticus Ross, and the song arrives with a visualizer by Health themselves (not Zev Deans, as previously reported). Watch below or here.
