Bernie Sanders is once again the star of a viral meme… and we are here for it!

Due to the social distancing requirements at the inauguration of Joe Biden yesterday, all of the politicians and celebrities in attendance sat alone, spaced from their peers to minimize the risk of spreading Covid-19. It was also really fucking cold out, whatwith it being January and all. Vermont Senator and former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, already a meme star in his own right, was captured sitting cross-legged and bundled up by photographer Brendan Smialowski… and it didn’t take the internet long to get to work.
