Tribulation Release New Single and Video, “Funeral Pyre”

Tribulation have released “Funeral Pyre,” the third single from their forthcoming album, Where the Gloom Becomes Sound. The song arrives with a music video written and directed by Claudio Marino of Artax Film.

The tune follows previous singles “Hour of the Wolf” and “Leviathans.”

The band comments on their latest song and video:

“Here’s something for the fire worshippers out there: an ode to the one that transforms and delivers, aids and burns. It’s a song about sacrifice and loss and the immortality quest of heroes past. Giving form to the name, we had the help of Claudio Mario and Artax Film who contributed with their own vision of ‘Funeral Pyre’ – as ragged, yet stylish and clean-cut as always.” 

Guitarist and founding member Jonathan Hultén recently announced he has left the band, making Where the Gloom Becomes Sound his final effort with them.

Where the Gloom Becomes Sound comes out on January 29 via Metal Blade in the U.S. (pre-order) and Century Media in the rest of the world (pre-order).
