Sharon Osbourne Tests Positive For COVID-19
Sharon Osbourne has tested positive for COVID-19.
Ozzy Osbourne’s wife and manager, who is very much a celebrity in her own right thanks to shows like The Osbournes and The Talk, broke the news on social media. Her message revealed that “After a brief hospitalization” she is now self-isolating away from Ozzy, who has tested negative for the virus:
“I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19. After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while ‘The Talk’ is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.”
Sharon’s co-host on The Talk, Carrie Ann Inaba, revealed last week that she, too, has been diagnosed with coronavirus.
Last month, Ozzy told GQ that “I’ve got emphysema [a lung condition that causes shortness of breath], so if I get this virus, I’m fucked.”
Ozzy is reportedly now in the studio working on a new album with Ordinary Man producer Andrew Watts.
The European leg of his “No More Tours 2” farewell trek, which will also feature Judas Priest, is scheduled to resume in 2022. Get dates here.
