Chris Adler’s Firstborne Releases New Song “Cut the Strings”

Firstborne, the new project featuring drummer Chris Adler (ex-Lamb of God), bassist James LoMenzo (ex-Megadeth, ex-Black Label Society, ex-White Lion, etc.), guitarist Myrone, and singer Girish Pradhan (Girish and the Chronicles), have released a new song called “Cut the Strings.”

As you might expect from a band whose individual members are all known for at least somewhat different styles of metal, Firstborne’s sound is diverse — and “Cut the Strings” is no different. It’s got a thrashy riff, LoG-style sputtering, rad guitar growls, and, of course, Pradhan’s soaring vocals, which up the awesome quotient of any song. It’s good stuff!
