Donna Cannone (Soilwork, Thundermother) Unveil Catchy New Rock Ditty, “Cross the Line”

Metal’s hardest working vocalist, Björn “Speed” Strid (Soilwork, The Night Flight Orchestra, At the Movies, etc.), determined to ensure he has no downtime whatsoever during the pandemic, is back with yet another project, this time with his significant other!

The new band, dubbed Donna Cannone, features Speed and his partner, Giorgia Carteri (ex-Thundermother), both on guitar alongside Luca D’Andria on bass and Giorgia’s former Thundermother bandmate, Tilda Nilke Nordlund, on drums. The result on the band’s debut single, “Cross the Line,” is a driving, singalong tune that’s equal parts rock ‘n roll and punk and full-on catchy; think The Cult for the new age. You’re gonna like it, I gah-rawn-tee.

Donna Cannone are signed to Despotz Records with a new album coming out in the spring.
