AC/DC Release Teaser for New Song “Shot in the Dark”
In case there was any doubt that AC/DC are about to announce a new album and release the first single, the band has now released a thirty-second clip of a new song (and presumably the aforementioned single), “Shot in the Dark.” You can check it out below.
For those who need to play catch-up, everyone’s favorite electricity-themed Australian hard rock band has been rumored to be working on a new album for some time now. Recently, leaked photos suggested they’d been filming a new music video.
Now things are really starting to rev up, with a new bit of AC/DC album news every day so far this week, including social media teases, advertisements suggesting the album is called Power Up (or, Bon Scott help us, PWR UP), and an official promo photo confirming their current line-up:
- Angus Young (lead guitar)
- Brian Johnson (vocals)
- Phil Rudd (drums)
- Cliff Williams (bass)
- Stevie Young (rhythm guitar)
The album may also include the last work completed by late guitarist Malcolm Young before he passed away.
My guess is the single/music video is dropping tomorrow.
In the meantime, here’s the teaser. It sounds like… well… an AC/DC song. I do not mean that as a knock! 2020 will take all the fun it can get, thank you very much.
