The Night Flight Orchestra’s “Impossible” is the Feel-Good Song of Autumn

The above headline’s claim that The Night Flight Orchestra’s new song, “Impossible,” is the feel-good song of autumn is kinda like saying that water is wet: The Night Flight Orchestra have written the feel-good song of any given season, any given year. All of their jams simply go that hard on a consistent basis and have a way of defining your life no matter the time of year!

Seemingly aware of the overpowering nature of their anthems and their ability to hijack your emotions, “Impossible” is accompanied by a hilarious, surely tongue-in-cheek statement that rings deeply true even if they’re mostly clowning around:

“The ‘B-side’ is a cover of ‘Reach Out’ by Cheap Trick, and everything except the lead vocals and drums were recorded on tour, on tour buses and backstage rooms throughout Europe, before we had to head home because the borders were starting to close down. But this is our love letter to you, from The Night Flight Orchestra, hoping that you’ll be with us through the rough winter months coming up.”
