Power Trip: “Thank You for Honoring Riley”

The death of Power Trip frontman Riley Gale continues to rock the metal world like any event in quite some time. He was so young! So much promise! Power Trip were grinders, eternally on the rise! Just devastating. My social feeds continue to be full of tributes to him several days later.

The remaining members of Power Trip have noticed all that love and posted a quick message expressing their gratitude. The band said in a tweet last night:

“We would like to thank all the fans, friends, and people around the world who have shown us so much love and support over the last several days.

“Thank you for honoring Riley and continuing to share your stories, memories, and photos. May his legacy live on forever.

“1986-2020”

Extremely classy, eloquent, and very much in the spirit of Riley himself.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld aired a moving tribute to Riley, and the band’s 2017 album, Nightmare Logic, climbed to #1 on two separate Apple Music charts.
