Kataklysm Have Released One of This Week’s Two Best New Metal Songs With the Word “Scars” in the Title
Kataklysm have released a new song called “Underneath the Scars.” It is easily one of the two best metal songs with the word “Scars” in the title that I have ever heard this week. The other one is “Scars” by Fates Warning. I would even dare to say that it is the superior of the two “Scars” songs — it’s heavier, crunchier, angrier, groovier, deathier, and just, like, everything-ier.
But even if you disagree with me, I think we can all agree on this: both songs are better than “Scars” by Papa Roach.
Check out “Underneath the Scars” below. Underneath “Underneath the Scars” are “Scars” by Fates Warning and also “Scars” by Papa Roach, but not “Scar Tissue” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers because let’s not get carried away here.
Kataklysm’s new album, Unconquered, comes out September 25. Also, Kataklysm frontman Maurizio Iacono is the guest on this week’s episode of The MetalSucks Podcast! Listen here.
