I can’t imagine there’s anyone left in the world who needs to be convinced that Rob Halford is a great singer. Regardless, these isolated Halford vocal tracks are just, like, nuts. I mean, listen to the isolated vocal track from “Painkiller,” and remember that it was recorded thirty years ago, before auto-tune was invented.

That shit is CRAZY, right? How the shit did he do that without blowing out his voice? I know we call Rob Halford the Metal God, but are we sure he isn’t an actual god???
