Quiet Riot Drummer Frankie Banali Suffered a Stroke
Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali, who has been battling stage IV pancreatic cancer since the spring of 2019, is now facing another health issue: he has suffered a stroke.
Banali was already in the hospital for an unspecified issue when he had the stroke. The good news is that he’s home now, after which he issued his latest health update all in one chunk:
“Update: I spent the last three weeks in the hospital. Home now. Had two blood transfusions. I also had a stroke while there. I am rehabbing at home. Thank you for your concern and well wishes.”
A GoFundMe to help Banali was launched by a friend of his earlier this year. You can donate to that effort, which has raised $47,000 so far, right here.
We continue to wish Banali all the best in his battle.
