Here’s a Preview of New Music from Entheos

Tech metal outfit Entheos announced earlier this spring that they’ve pared down to a duo consisting of founding members Navene Koperweis and Chaney Crabb, with Koperweis taking over an all instruments except vocals.

Entheos unveiled a new track called “Remember You Are Dust” at the time, and now they’ve shared a minute-long preview of another, with a split screen showing Koperweis jamming on both guitar and drums.

The riffs are some serious attention-grabbers that I’m sure will worm their way into our collective brain once this track is out in the world in its final form, but my biggest takeaway here is how talented Koperweis is: we already knew he’s one of the best metal drummers working right now, but seeing him hammer away at those complex guitar riffs too makes my head spin. Damn, son! Now let’s get some of Chaney Crabb’s patented roars on top of all of this and we’ll be in business.

Looking forward to more of this in hopefully the not-too-distant future.
