Watch: 5 Iron Maiden Riffs on the Hurdy Gurdy
Eluveitie’s hurdy gurdy player (hurdy gurdiest?), Michalina Malisz, has shared a video in which she plays five Iron Maiden riffs on her instrument of expertise — specifically, “Wasted Years,” “Number of the Beast,” “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” “Aces High,” and “Paschendale.” They all actually sound really great… particularly “Paschendale.” I don’t think I’ve tried to listen to Dance of Death in about a gajillion years, but this makes me wanna revisit it.
