Mötley Crüe Annonuce Virtual Watch Party for The Dirt
As surely as Tommy Lee will never grace the cover of Parenting magazine, Mötley Crüe’s summer stadium tour with Def Leppard, Poison, Joan Jet, and Tic-Tac-Toe will be cancelled. But for some reason, they can’t make that announcement and let people get their money back before June 1. So in the meantime, the Crüe are trying to buy some goodwill with their fans by hosting a virtual watch party for Netflix’s popular adaptation of their collective autobiography, The Dirt.
The blessed event will take place this Friday, May 15 at 4 pm PDT/ 7 pm EDT via the Mötley Crüe Twitter account and the hashtag #stayhomesweethome. The band and will use the social media platform to offer “special commentary” with “special guests” (likely the film’s cast, if the announcement graphic is any indication). The whole thing is gonna be really quite special, I guess.
Hopefully Vince Neil can type drunk.
