Ice Nine Kills Post Horror-Themed Cover of “Stacy’s Mom”

Ice Nine Kills have knocked out three birds with one stone on their latest release, a cover of the 2003 Fountains of Wayne hit, “Stacy’s Mom” that’s been re-dubbed “Jason’s Mom” and given horror-inspired Friday the 13th-themed lyrics:

1. Paid tribute to one of the song’s writers, Adam Schlesinger, who died of COVID-19 last month.
2. Paid tribute to the original Friday the 13th film, which turned 40 years old this weekend.
3. Paid tribute to all of the world’s moms in time for Mother’s Day.
