Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland is Getting Ready to Release 23 Goatslayer Albums
Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has always been a wellspring for creativity, from his work in Big Dumb Face and Black Light Burns to his solo work and more. You’ll notice I didn’t include Limp Bizkit in that list.
Borland is making the most of the current downtime provided by the coronavirus quarantine, having already released demos from his long-abandoned project Eat the Day with Filter’s Richard Patrick, Nine Inch Nails’ Danny Lohner, and drummer extraordinaire Josh Freese. And now he’s begun to seed out songs from Goatslayer, his decades-old project with his own brother, Scott.
The PRP (who else?) tells us that the duo, who have been working on Goatslayer together since their teens, are planning on releasing 23 albums worth of material in the next few weeks. You can check out a few previews of that below via the Goatslayer Instagram, and while they’re not as heavy as the name might suggest, they sure are an interesting window into the minds of the Borlands. There’s gonna be a LOT of weird shit on those 23 albums, you can bet on it.
