Members of High on Fire, Mutoid Man, Spirit Adrift etc. Cover Steely Dan’s “Reelin’ In The Years”
Just minutes ago we published a video of members of King Diamond, Soilwork, Hammerfall and more covering “No Easy Way Out” from the Rocky IV soundtrack, and now we’re back with another quarantine supergroup collaboration from a completely different cast of characters!
The effort sees members of a number of notorious American bands teaming up for a version of Steely Dan’s “Reelin’ in the Years” that’s undoubtedly the heaviest, most rockin’ version of the tune you’ve ever heard. The lineup:
Nate Garrett (Spirit Adrift): guitar
Dave Hill (Witch Taint, etc.): guitar, vocals
Chris Maggio (High On Fire, Wear Your Wounds, etc.): drums
Stephen Brodsky (Mutoid Man, Cave In, Old Man Gloom): vocals
Marissa Nadler: vocals
Nick Cageo (Mutoid Man): bass
Jordan “Gwarsenio Hall” Olds (Two Minutes To Late Night): vocals
