Converge Release “Endless Arrow,” a 30-Minute Variation of “Endless Arrow”
Do you love “Aimless Arrow,” the opening track from Converge’s 2012 album, All We Love We Leave Behind? I mean, do you really love it?? Like, do you really, really, REALLY love it???
If you answered in the affirmative, you will be ecstatic to learn that the band has now released “Endless Arrow,” described as “A over 30 minute ambient/experimental version of our song ‘Aimless Arrow’ created by [guitarist/producer] Kurt Ballou.” That makes “Endless Arrow” almost fifteen times as long as “Aimless Arrow.”
If you listen very, very closely, you can still hear the original track in there. But yeah they ain’t kiddin’ when they describe “Endless Arrow” as “ambient/expermiental.” This shit makes Bloody Panda sound like DragonForce.
Listen to the track below, or download it here for the price of your choosing. It’s very cool that the band is basically giving the track away in this current economy, so don’t be dick — offer up at least a buck or whatever.
