Another Round of Coronavirus Cancellations and Postponements: In This Moment, P.O.D., Darkest Hour, Author & Punisher, More
In the mere two hours since our last round of tour cancellations and postponements resulting from the coronavirus pandemic, a handful of more metal acts have added their names to the list of bands being benched for the time being. You can grab those updates below.
MetalSucks is keeping a running list of metal and hard rock tours worldwide canceled or postponed as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. This post will be updated on a continual basis as updates come in. We’ve made it a “sticky post” — meaning it will appear at the top of the MS landing page for the foreseeable future, even as we continue to share other stories — but be sure to bookmark the above page and check back for frequent updates in the coming days and weeks.
With that out of the way…
- In This Moment have postponed their North American tour with Black Veil Brides, DED and Raven Black.
- Darkest Hour have postponed their tour of the U.S. and Canada with Misery Signals and Sect. The band says that “All pre-sale tickets will be honored for the to be announced re-scheduled dates.” While refunds are available at the point of purchase, the band encourages fans who can afford it to “hold on to your tickets for now in an effort to help support the venues that could use the money during these trying times.”
- P.O.D. have postponed three U.S. dates which were scheduled for later this month.
- Author & Punisher will no longer support Igorrr on the latter’s upcoming European tour.
- Cancer Bats’ March tour of Canada has been rescheduled for November. Dates are below, with a show at Ottowa’s 27 Club pending:
