Ozzy Osbourne’s Daughter Calls Report That the Singer Is Dying “Utter Bullsh*t”
Ozzy Osbourne’s 2019 was plagued by health issues… and if we’re being honest, he didn’t look so hot in 2018, either.
So fans could be forgiven if they saw this Radar Online story on New Year’s Day and accepted it at face value:
“Heavy metal maniac Ozzy Osbourne is bedridden in agonizing pain and losing his marbles, sources said — prompting pals to believe he’s waiting to die!
“Sources revealed the bat-biting Black Sabbath frontman is in such dire straits he didn’t even realize his wife, Sharon, missed the holidays with him for the first time in 40 years.
“‘Ozzy is in chronic pain and begging to be put out of his misery!’ an insider said. ‘He’s in such bad shape that he didn’t even notice Sharon wasn’t there.’”
That would certainly be troubling news… if it wasn’t just debunked by Ozzy’s daughter, Kelly. Writing on Instagram, the younger Osbourne said:
“Today I had a wonderful start to 2020. I went out to lunch with my family. Then I spent the rest of the day laughing and hanging out with my dad. I come home to read sickening articles about my dad supposedly being on his ‘death bed’ sometimes the media makes me sick!! It’s no secret that my dad has had a rough year when it comes to his health but come the FUCK on this is utter bullshit.”
Kelly’s claim would seem to be backed up by this photo of Ozzy on Christmas day, which was shared by Kelly’s brother, Jack, and in which The Ozzman looks very much not on his deathbed:
I’m sure I speak for everyone at MetalSucks when I say we’re relieved to hear Ozzy is not, in fact, dying. At least not any more than we’re all dying.
Ozzy new’s album, Ordinary Man, will be out early next year. Meanwhile, his “No More Tours 2” retirement trek continues next year across the globe. Dates are below.
