Korn, Stone Sour, and Killswitch Engage Amongst Spotify’s Most Streamed Metal Bands in 2019

Have you had enough of 2019 wrap-up lists yet? Of course you haven’t! IT’S STILL THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER. Shit is just getting started!

This list, however, is interesting in that it deals with some raw numbers and not the subjective opinions of nerdy writers.

See, every year, Spotify does this thing called “Spotify Wrapped,” wherein it basically makes you a playlist and shows you a bunch of statistics based on what you listened to that year. Subsequently, The PRP reports, “a number of those artists have shared their yearly statistics of streams, listeners and more via their social media.” Which The PRP then very helpfully went and compiled into a nice list for all of us to enjoy!

You can check out the list of Spotify’s most-streamed metal (and metal-adjacent) bands below. The TLDNR general takeaway is, “A lot of people like some really crappy bands, but they do like a few cool ones, too.” But you knew that.
