While She Sleeps Unveil Fist-Pumping New Track, “Faker’s Plague”
Kinda like I was just saying about Lorna Shore, I’ve never been able to get into While She Sleeps. Again, no hate, I just simply never connected with their music. But I dig their new song, “Faker’s Plague”! It starts out with a gnarly Refused-like rock n’ roll riff that’s unshakeable, some real body-moving, fist-pumping shit. And while the chorus goes a bit more in the sing-songy / cheese direction than I usually prefer, I can get down with it in light of how much the rest of the song kicks ass. The video, which features some galaxy brain-like holographic imagery, is super nifty, too.

“We all had a lot of anger building up within us and it was amazing for us to come together and express it through music. Everyone in life has a beautiful side and an ugly side; it’s how we all react and deal with these polarities of life that makes us human. No one is perfect and we certainly aren’t. Let’s embrace it together.”
“Faker’s Plague” is a standalone single that follows the band’s latest album, So What?, released earlier this year. Catch While She Sleeps on tour with Every Time I Die and Vein in Europe, and He Is Legend and Savage Hands in North America in early 2020:
