Dragonforce brought their singular brand of shredtastic power metal to San Francisco’s August Hall the night of Thursday, October 11th, and photographer Derek Tobias was on hand to capture the action for MetalSucks. Naturally, Dragonforce’s performance — which included their hit “Through the Fire and Flames” and their recent cover of Céline Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” — was larger-than-life. The show included such theatrics as the band’s oversized arcade games, an abundance of confetti, and vocalist Marc Hudson blasting the crowd with cold air from a cryogun.
