Darkest Hour Guitarist Mike Schleibaum to Fill In Live with Unearth

Darkest Hour guitarist Mike Schleibaum will be taking Ken Susi’s spot in Unearth for the first four gigs of the band’s upcoming tour.

The bands have plenty of shared history, having toured together countless times during metalcore’s rise in the ’00s, and again recently as part of the “Death to False Metalcore” tour of Europe. On top of that, Schleibaum filled in when family commitments kept Susi home earlier this year, although neither party has made public why Susi will be absent this time around.

Regardless, Susi will re-join Unearth at the tour’s fifth show — at the Full Terror Assault festival in Cave-in-Rock, IL — so if the highlight of your Unearth live experience is watching his patented move of hocking a loogie straight up into the air and catching it in his mouth, fear not!
