Music Video Premiere: Internal Bleeding, “Corrupting Influence”

In November of last year, the metal world lost Erik Lindmark, the founder of and mastermind behind long-running death metal imprint Unique Leader Records and guitarist of Deeds of Flesh. Against that backdrop, Internal Bleeding, Pyrexia, Cognitive and Afterbirth all gathered on February 2nd, 2019 at Brooklyn’s famed Saint Vitus Bar to pay tribute to Lindmark in the most appropriate way possible: a raucous death metal show. All proceeds from the show went into a fund for Erik’s daughter, Bella, and by all accounts the event was a huge success.

Which brings us up to today: Internal Bleeding filmed their performance that night and have compiled it into a music video, dedicated to Lindmark, for their song “Corrupting Influence.” The clip captures the frenetic nature of Internal Bleeding’s live performances, and as an added bonus to mix things up from the conventional live clip, features some shots of the band singing the song while walking down the streets near Saint Vitus on what must have surely been a bone-chillingly cold day.
