Video: Members of Sepultura, Misfits, Arch Enemy, and More Perform with Metal Allegiance
The latest Metal Allegiance all-star jam took place last night (Thursday, January 24) in Anaheim, CA, where a substantial chunk of the industry is currently conveniently gathered for NAMM*. As reported by The PRP, this newest gathering of titans included the following badass men and woman:
- Andreas Kisser (Sepultura)
- Mark Osegueda (Death Angel)
- John Bush (Armored Saint, ex-Anthrax)
- Chuck Billy (Testament)
- Bobby Blitz (Overkill)
- Trevor Strnad (The Black Dahlia Murder)
- Mark Tornillo (Accept)
- Phil Demmel (ex-Machine Head)
- Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy)
- Doyle Wolfgang von Frankstenstein (Misfits)
In addition to original material, the group performed Black Sabbath’s eponymous debut in its entirety.
Luckily for all of us who couldn’t attend, they livestream these affairs, which means you can now watch it below (starting around the 37 minute mark). And below that, you can watch a very funny video in which MetalSucks shows four members of Metal Allegiance — include Megadeth’s Dave Ellefson, Testament’s Alex Skolnick, and The Black Dahlia Murder’s Trevor Strnad — a bunch of thrash metal videos. So it’s like a Metal Allegiance double feature! Huzzah!
*If you’re interested in that kind of thing — by which I mean instruments and gear — I highly encourage you to follow the extensive coverage being produced by our sibling site, Gear Gods, who are releasing new video updates from the convention on the regular.
