Threat Signal’s Guitarist Has Lost His Home to a Fire
In absolutely gutting news, Threat Signal and AngelMaker guitarist Matt Perrin has lost his home in a fire. Thankfully Matt and his partner escaped the blaze unharmed (and from the looks of the photos he posted most of his instruments were spared) but one of his two cats is in critical condition and Matt lost almost all of his worldly possessions. On top of all of that, he’s out a place to live and will surely be dealing with the trauma of this event for quite some time.
Matt posted the following on Facebook:
“Today was one of the worst days of my life. I woke up this morning and smelled smoke in my apartment. My landlord came banging on my door and we both looked out the window and saw that the apartment under us was completely on fire. the fire spread from the suite below us and up the walls into ours. Both my cats Jax and Luna are alive, although Luna is in critical condition from smoke inhalation. Our apartment is completely destroyed and I’m in complete shock with what to do right now. To everyone who has already talked to me and sent me their thoughts, thank you. This has been a horrible day, but at least my pets and Heather are alive.”
On behalf of everyone at MetalSucks, we wish Matt, Heather and his two cats all the best. We hope you all get back on your feet as soon as possible!
