Arsis’s New Track “Hell Sworn” — Does it Slap??

Hearing the first single from Arsis’s new album, “Tricking the Gods” — and now their latest, “Hell Sworn,” which came out this morning — is making me realize how much I missed this band while they were gone (their last album, Unwelcome, came out five and a half years ago). There’s something about Arsis’s music that’s particularly, uniquely and wonderfully Arsis — just James Malone’s way of constructing melodies, I suppose — and there’s been a giant ol’ Arsis-sized hole in my melodeath-charred heart I didn’t even know needed filling. Welcome back, dudes!
