BTBAM’s Tommy Rogers’ Thomas Giles Gets Faith No More-Ian on “Milan”

I don’t know if Faith No More’s influence on Thomas Giles (a.k.a. Tommy Rogers from Between the Buried and Me) has ever been more apparent than it is on his new single, “Milan.” Everything about the song — the bass, the synths, the vocals (including a guest spot by Ulver’s Kristoffer Rygg) — just screams post-Jim Martin-era FNM.

That’s not a bad thing. “Milan” will absolutely not be the heaviest song you hear today, but it will be definitely be one of the catchiest and one of the prettiest.

And as a bonus, the video, which looks like a hybrid of a Tool clip and Sin City, is pretty dope, too.
