Skindred U.S. Tour Canceled Due To Visa Issues
As luck would have it, the Welsh feel-good metallers Skindred have been forced to cancel their rare U.S. headlining tour due to visa delays. The band released the following statement:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, beyond our control. We have unfortunately had to cancel our run of upcoming U.S. tour dates, which were due to start in Florida later this week. We sincerely apologise to you who have bought tickets for any inconvenience caused and hope to reschedule some of these shows back in for 2019.”
The Chameleon Club in Harrisburg, PA, where Skindred were set to play on October 3rd, elaborated on the issue:
“We have just been advised that Skindred’s visas have been delayed and will not be approved ‘for at least another few weeks.’ Unfortunately, this means we will have to cancel the upcoming tour date at the Chameleon Club. Refunds can be received at your point of purchase.”
Well, shit. In the event that the tour is rescheduled, we’ll still be able to honor the winners of our recent Skindred ticket giveaway, so at least it’s not all for naught. In the meantime, just know that Skindred wouldn’t want you crying over this, so drown your sorrows in the band’s goofy music videos (“That’s My Jam” below) and their latest record Big Tings.
