Four Seconds Ago (feat. Members of Periphery), In A “Galaxy” Far, Far Away…
As we posted about in February, Misha Mansoor and Jake Bowen of djent forefathers Periphery are wor
king on a new album for their side project, Four Seconds Ago. The music’s not metal, it’s more weird ambient electronic stuff.
Now, the band has released video for their new song “Galaxy”, which you can watch below.
It’s…well, look, I’m not as big a fan of Periphery’s spacey side as some other people are, so I’m less inclined toward it. Honestly, it sounds like the kind of music you hear in the lobby of a European hotel, and the video looks a bit like a screen saver. But if the ethereal, energy-in-space side of djent is your bag, this track might really grab you. So don’t take my word for it, check it out.
Watch “Galaxy” below. Four Seconds Ago’s new album, The Vacancy, is schedule for a September 28th release on Periphery’s 3DOT Recordings label. Pre-order it here. In the meantime, listen to Jake’s recent appearance on the MetalSucks Podcast.
