ZAKK WYLDE APPROACHES GUITAR SOLOS “THE SAME WAY AS WHEN YOU AND ME GO TO THE GAY BROTHEL”

Zakk Wylde is without a doubt the best interview in metal. Possibly ever. Michael Robinson of Collider.com has sent us a recent interview he did with Zakk on the Ozzfest stop in Boston. The interview, including both video and a transcription, is hilarious as could be expected, and includes such choice nuggets as this:

On approaching the solo on “11 Silver” from the new album Black Rain: “I just approached it the same way as when you and me go to the gay brothel. I just go out there and I say, look at the size; look at the girth; look at the length; look at the size of the balls. I just go, that’s it, that’s the solo. That’s the shlong that I want.”
