Black Veil Brides are Breaking Up

True story: Black Veil Brides’ manager, Blasko (you may also know him as Ozzy’s bass player), discovered the band from this shit-talking post we wrote on MetalSucks back in 2009, and credits that post with his decision to reach out to and eventually work with the band!

It’s been quite a career for BVB, and Blasko has surely earned quite a lot of dough for himself in the process, but all things eventually come to an end (accept for The Simpsons): Black Veil Brides are hanging it up.

The revelation came via Ashley Purdy in an interview with Another FN Podcast [transcribed by Loudwire], in which the bassist said in no uncertain terms the band would be calling it quits after the upcoming Warped Tour:

“We start Thursday at Warped Tour in Pomona, [California] and we are going to do eight dates through the southern California area. And that is where you are going to see Black Veil Brides for the last time ever in your entire lives. So, you better fucking go, because that’s gonna be it. You better see us before you don’t see us.”

Purdy went on to say that frontman Andy Black has a solo project or new band in the works, while the rest of the members will be teaming up on something else.

I’d say it’s too bad Black Veil Brides are breaking up, but… nah, we’re not really gonna miss ’em. Still, we’ll take our finders’ fee any time you’re ready, Blasko! We’ll accept payment either via Bitcoin, one (1) lunch at In N’ Out or two (2) premium memberships to PornHub.com.
