8-Year-Old Japanese Girl Covers Led Zeppelin on Drums, Represents the Best Hope for Humanity’s Future
Yoyoka Soma cites John Bonham as one of her greatest influences. So it makes sense that she’d want to cover Led Zeppelin’s classic, “Good Times Bad Times.” Bonham’s shoes are hard to fill, sure, but she’s been playing drums for six years already, so she’s managed to a produce a cover of which she can be proud.
Thing is, Yoyoka Soma is eight years old.
For those of you who are bad at math, yes: Yoyoka has been playing drums she was two. And she’s been publicly rocking out since she was four.
Naturally, she’s gotten a lot better since then, and has since launched a band with her family, Kaneaiyoyoka. Here they are covering X Japan:
