As I Lay Dying Preview New Music

As has been rumored for some time, it would appear that Tim Lambesis is re-launching As I Lay Dying. Some version of the band just posted the below tease of new music on social media. We don’t know who, besides Lambesis, is involved in the project at this point, but it seems unlikely that it’s any of the dudes you care about (e.g., Jordan Mancino, Nick Hipa, and everyone else who went on to found Wovenwar).

So how does it sound? Fine. I’m glad Lambesis finally took responsibility for his actions, but he still has a ways to go before he gets the metal community’s trust back. So I’m skeptical of this on a pretty deep level; like, the quality of the music is, at least for now, kind of beside the point. Just my two cents.
