Stream Yob’s Entire New Album Our Raw Heart Right Now

I’ve been raving about Yob’s new album Our Raw Heart for the past several weeks, so I’m really not sure what superlatives are left to lob its way that I haven’t already. So, in lieu of telling you how brutal and devastating and raw and emotional it is and blah blah blah insert frequently used metal adjectives here, how about this: IT’S FUCKING GREAT! Especially in spite of — or perhaps because of — the fact that frontman/guitarist Mike Scheidt came back from the literal precipice of death to write it. Not only that, but it’s a big creative step forward for the band, musically speaking; it’s the most expansive and dynamic we’ve ever heard them.
