Chon and Polyphia Team Up For Second “Super Chon Bros Tour”

Is there a name for the type of instrumental metal that Chon and Polyphia play? If not, there should be. I feel like Intervals fall into this category too, even though they’re not instrumental. It’s not really djent, but it has roots in that genre. “Instrumental metal” is way too broad and doesn’t quite nail it. Anyone?

Anyhoo, Chon and Polyphia have teamed up for the second installment of the “Super Chon Bros Tour,” having previously hit the road together in 2016. TTNG and Tricot will support.

While you’re at, make sure you haven’t missed the super-fun music video Polyphia put out last month for the track “40oz.” It stars a bunch of elderly women partying hard and it rules.
