I’ll say this about Phil Labonte: at least he knows his role as the metal world’s Libertarian Agitator in Chief and he plays it up to maximum effect. Not that he isn’t 100% serious about the political and social viewpoints he’s expressing, but he surely exaggerates for impact. Sounds like a certain metal website with well-known leftist leanings. Hmmm…

The latest: after feuding on Twitter yesterday over gun control and Labonte’s appearance on Infowars in the wake of the school shooting in Parkland, FL, the All That Remains frontman and Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto are back at it, and they’re going for the throat… or just fucking around. Or a little of both.

Check out the back and forth below, in which Gregoletto gets in a fantastic zinger — calling Phil “the discount Jesse Leach” — and Labonte fires back with some tang of his own. Extra points to Paolo for his expert use of Fuhrer Trump’s tone and language style.
