Here’s the Poster for the Lords of Chaos Movie

The Lords of Chaos movie is happening, whether Fenriz likes it or not. In fact, given that a) they filmed over a year ago and b)  director (and former Bathory drummer) Jonas Åkerlund has tweeted out the poster, we can assume that the movie is coming soon.

And, hey, for what it’s worth, it’s a pretty cool poster, showing Euronymous (here played by Rory Culkin) in silhouette over a burning church (which, let’s be honest, is what’s gonna put butts-that-don’t-care-about-black-metal in seats). The logo is certainly appropriate. I also like that it says “Based on Truth and Lies.” I don’t know if that will appease, say, Necrobutcher, who called the book upon which the movie is based “fucking crap,” but, hey, at least it’s acknowledging that they’ve taken some dramatic liberties with the facts.

Feast your eyes…
