What If Killswitch Engage Tuned Down?

For his latest act of YouTube viral music dorkery vomit, our old pal Andrew Baena decided to see how it would sound if five of Killswitch Engage’s most famous riffs were played on a seven-string guitar in drop G# tuning. For the most part, the results will make you feel glad that Killswitch Engage don’t actually sound like this — the muddiness of such a low tuning really doesn’t do their music any favors — but I gotta say, I actually dig the way “Last Serenade” sounds… at least, that is, until the chorus.
