“North of Hell:” Slayer’s “South of Heaven” Covered in a Major Key

The folks at YouTube channel Happy Metal certainly aren’t the first to take angry, minor key metal songs and give them the unicorns and rainbows treatment by transposing them into a major key, but a big pat on the back is in order for their rendition of Slayer’s “South of Heaven.”

Not only does it do a fine job of completely removing the balls from one of the most wicked sounding songs of all time by a band that’s become synonymous with evil, but it takes several creative liberties that make “North of Hell” a unique beast of its own.
