These are Lars Ulrich’s Fifteen Favorite Metal and Hard Rock Albums
Another day, another list over which to argue! Yaaaayyyyyy!!!
The latest needless ranking sure to raise the ire of people not fully confident in their own opinions: Lars Ulrich’s fifteen favorite metal and hard rock albums. The list comes from Rolling Stone‘s new preview of upcoming episode of Ulrich’s Apple Music Beats 1 show, It’s Electric. I think it’s pretty solid, but I’m sure of you will be pissed that there isn’t anything by Ulrich’s thrash peers on the list, or you’ll be all “How dare he pick Sabotage over [insert name of your favorite classic Sabbath album here]” or whatever. Sadly for you, the list is in alphabetical order, so you’ll only be able to bicker about exclusions, not running order.
Have at it, ye jackals:
- AC/DC – Let There Be Rock (1977)
- Alice in Chains – Dirt (1992)
- Black Sabbath – Sabotage (1975)
- Blue Öyster Cult – On Your Feet or On Your Knees (1975)
- Deep Purple – Made in Japan (1972)
- Diamond Head – Lightning to the Nations (1980)
- Guns N’ Roses – Appetite for Destruction (1987)
- Iron Maiden – The Number of the Beast (1982)
- Judas Priest – Unleashed in the East (1979)
- Mercyful Fate – Melissa (1983)
