Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” Played Entirely on Bells

Happy May Day, everyone! Rob Scallon is back for another year of May-tallica, and his first entry of 2017 is a doozy: a rendition of Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” played entirely on bells.

Scallon utilizes a whole ton of different kinds of bells for this one, even for the drum beat. It’s pretty remarkable the creative ideas this guy continues to come up with: check it out below.

This year Scallon has expanded his May offerings to include May-shuggah, Iron May-den and System of May Down. It should be a fun, and bizarre, month.
